Thanks to everyone that has written
can’t possibly write to everyone and thank them
for there remarks about "my story" that I have been
willing to share with everyone. So I guess I will do it
here…"Thank You." I never really thought of myself as an
inspiration to anyone. I was just like a lot of you….I
couldn’t face one more day being "FAT" or face another
diet only to lose 5 pounds and then gain back 10. I
was tired of buying clothes in the summer and then
having to turn around and buy new clothes in the winter
because everything from the year before was too small. I
was tired of the snickers from kids in the mall and
the rude salespeople in stores. I hated wearing baggy
clothes and trying to feel sexy when I couldn’t even move
without breathing like I had run 100 miles. I was at the
end of my rope and finally took the bull by the horns
and made the decision to have the surgery. I surely
regretted it at first, but now I would do it again in a
minute. I feel that if you are extremely overweight, this
is the ONLY way to get a handle on it. Diet and
exercise are all well and good (which I watch and do
everyday) but we efficient storage unites of fat, need to
take more drastic steps and surgery is it. I don’t
ever want to go back to being OBESE again (Don’t you
just hate that word)!!!

i Im Nicole. Ihave been researching this for a
few months and am currently waiting approval which I
do not doubt I will get but then again you know
insur. companies. As the days go by, I keep reading more
and more about how people are not getting enuff food
in, not enuff protein and they cannot tolerate
anything. Just what the heck can you eat. I had abdominal
surgery last year so I know what to expect and healed
quite quickly. Why did you regret it at first. ANYONE
with advice, please oh please help up newcomers.
