know how you are feeling, so excited and so
scared at the same time. It's a weird feeling isn't it.
It would be GREAT to have your support person with
you the day of and the day after surgery. I wish I
had such a person, but then again my husband was with
me and he was the greatest support person of all. A
lot of the determination is going to come from within
you though. Listen to what the nurses are telling you
and when you think you can't make it, push yourself.
All I can say is Thank God they had painkillers. It
was tough the first few days, but with strength and
painkillers and made it through just fine. If you are really,
really scared of taking vitamins, I have heard of some
people taking chewables. That way you don't have to
worry about blockages. I would also suggest if you take
<!--more-->
a multi-vitamin that isn't chewable to cut it in
half. The B-12 pills I take are in capsule form, so I
can't cut them in half. I have never suffered any
blockages taking vitamins. If you are really scared about
this, ask your doctor, but don't worry yourself silly
over it. These pills disolve in your stomach and do
not cause a blockage. If you are worried about the
size, like I said, just cut them in half if they are
the type you can. In three weeks, you will be
starting a whole new life. Congratulations...Helen
