ust read you posting and wanted to wish you
well, I will say a prayer for you. I am sure you will
do fine, think positives!!! WLS is less risk than
carrying an excessive amt of weight as I am sure we all
know but having surgery is always scary. I have had
three major procedures but I am more anxious about my
upcoming RNY than any, I think its because this is
something I elected to do rather than HAD to do...Please
post when you feel up to it and let me know how you
are doing. Sincerely, HCF

ichael, I know what you mean by apprehensive,
its a normal response to what you're facing but just
think of the "reward" on the other side of this! I've
just begun my journey towards my goal and am waiting
for the insurance to approve my date with surgery! No
one can tell you what its going to "feel like", they
can only share what they, themselves have gone
through and it may be nothing like "your journey". I was
told by another WLS patient that there is no way to
"candy coat" what's going to happen, but I do believe
them when I'm told that it will soon be just a memory
in time. Just keep thinking postive about your
journey and the goals you will obtain very soon! My
prayers will be with you, God bless you. Wendy....Utah
