Vitamin Requirments

oes anyone out there know the amounts of
vitamins we should be taking in. In other words, for
example, IRON. How much is good in a day. I found some
multi vitamins for kids that are chewable that do not
say sugar free but I looked all over for sugar and
the only thing I saw was aspartame. They are sooo
sweet. I also want to get the B12, zinc and othes but
don’t know how much a day. Anyone help! I went to GNC
yesterday but the guy working was totally useless and I
could not get any answers!

was given a tape of the last months support
group a AGH (hospital in Pittsburgh) that I attend and
the nutritionist suggest taking a chewable childrens
vitamin and 2 tums a day. I hear from others that Centrum
chewable tastes better. The tums are for calcium, and are
chewable. When choosing your meals you can try green vegs
for extra vitamins. some people have chosen to get
the B12 shots monthly instead of tring to take a
tablet. Hope this answers your question. Good Luck with
    you findings. Corinna

went to GNC with the vitamin list my surgeon
gave me (Of course now I can’t find it or I’d copy it
on here)…but, this is what the GNC guy & I came up
with to cover all of my needs: GNC Teen chewable
    multi-vitamins (I take 3 a day) GNC Sublingual B12 (I take one
every other day) and the GNC teen calcium ( I take 4 a
day) this covers all the B12, iron & calcium my Dr.
Prescribed. All of these were buy one bottle get the 2nd at
half price so, it wasn’t a complete fortune
    either…hope any of this helps.<br>Kelly

y doctor recommends two Flinstones chewable vitamins per day plus two Tums with
calcium for a calcium supplement. I’m glad not to have to swallow any big
vitamin pills. And they taste great too!
