Chat room
There is never anyone in the chat room so I am
wondering if there is something I am supposed to do to
"activate" it. <br><br>It says something about a list of
friends so I put in some of the names from the message
list. Is there something else I am supposed to
do?<br><br>I would appreciate any help. I am not too great on
the internet stuff yet.<br><br>Thanks

you’ve reached a members only area..and at the top of
the page it says.Hoyin_6 you are a member. Whats up?

Why dont we ever use the chat room? I think it would be a lot more
informative to others.

Carrie, I’m on about 6 lists for various GBS things, and none of us use
the chat rooms. I think it has more to do with the fact that we’re all
pretty busy and can snatch a moment here or there to answer an email,
but to commit to being in one place at a certain time might be much more
difficult. If you want to meet someone in the chat room, then set up a
time and invite the list via an email. Maybe if others have the time
they’ll show up.

Pam,
Belonging to this group has been very supportive, informative and caring. Just
list the time and I will join the chat now and then. Certainly with the chat,
answers to questions can be answered right away if we all have a part.

There really isn’t a set chat schedule, in fact I’m not sure it’s really
ever been used. Your welcome to set something up and I or Pam will do our
best to promote it.
