Hello Everyone,
My name is Debbie and I’m from Methuen ma. and I went
threw six months of testing for this surgery and went threw with the surgery
on October 15th and I have already lost 39 pounds and I am getting excited
with every waking moment "BUT" I have one question maybe one of you guys
could help me out on this one,,GAS is a very big problem and I think I have
tried everything in the book to fix this problem but nothing works. I can’t
even take a bite of food without gas stoping my food from going to my stomach
I sort of feel like every bite I take I need to burp but nothing comes out
and it can be extremely painful at times and I could use some help any
suggestions would be great, other than that I feel great when I’m not eating.

hi- i’m 3 weeks post-op-and i can relate about the gas. gas-x works pretty
good. are you eating anything with dairy or high fat content? that really
causes it for me. if i take lactaid before i eat i’m almost gas free.
yogurt gives me horrible gas and that is one of the allowed foods for me so
go figure!

As of wednesday march 1st I have a lapband in my stomach.
I would like to keep in touch with people who are following their diet
and share success or hard habits to break.
Im having a little pain here and there but totally controlled by the
pain meds.
Hope to hear from you soon,
God Bless

I had a question if you don’t mind asking what is a lapband? I am
not sure what it is but hope someone can help you how to feel better
soon.
