My mom had a consultation with a local doctor,
and the doctor told her that she wouldn’t be a very
good candidate for WLS. My mom has diabeties and has
had a triple bypass. Some of her small vessels are
closing up and causing her to have poor circulation. The
doctor thinks that the vessels in the stomach may have
some difficulties healing.
This was like a chance
of hope to my mom and the doctor shot it down
quickly. If there is anyone that had similar symptoms
prior to surgery could you please email me. I am
planning on taking her to get a second opinion.

HI

I’ve been lurking in the background for
ages, and finally finished reading ALL 625 messages
tonight. *S*

I’m so glad I found this site, it’s
been a real inspiration to me.

I’m VERY
interested in hearing from someone that has HAD Lap Bypass
Surgery. I would definitely like to have it done this way,
but have not heard much about it. Seems the few I
have heard that had it done, ended up BACK in the
operating room, and that does NOT sound fun to me.

Thank you,

Bobbi

HI

I’m still looking to hear from people
that have had the Roux-en-Y (Laparoscopic). Any info,
good or bad, would be appreciated. :-)

I am in
the process of getting approval for the surgery at
the present time, and I’m having a hard time dedicing
between the LAP or OPEN procedure.

Has anyone
used Dr. Scott in Wentzville, MO?

Thank
you,

Bobbi
