pre-op troubles
Hi everyone,<br>I haven’t posted in awhile but I
wanted to bring you up to date. I’m scheduled for RNY
surgery on September 10. I had all my ore-ops done on
August 11 and thought I was really on my way. Well, a
couple of days ago my surgeon called to say that they
had found a "density" (?) on my right lung and would
I come in for a ct-scan. <br><br>I had the scan
this morning but I won’t hear anything until Tuesday
when I see the surgeon. I’m worried about having
something horrible (my mother died of lung cancer at 53;
I’m 49) but I think I’m more worried about having the
surgery delayed!!<br><br>So keep a good thought for me
and let me know if anyone has any wisdom to share
about this. I’ll post again after I see the

Hi Mary,<br>Thanks for asking. I saw the surgeon
today and all is well. She said I have alot of
"granula" (not a breakfast food) in my lungs. Lumps of scar
tissue from childhood asthma and bouts of pneumonia. So
I’m set for a Medial RNY with stomach transection, 8
a.m. on Septembet 10! I’m really getting excited! I am
