THE LAST DIET
I just thought I would post this little message
for those that have not had surgery as yet and are in
the process of wondering "if it will work this time."
(I hope I say this right) Before my surgery my diets
would last until the first "Big Mac" passed my way.
Then I would figure…what the heck and dive in with
both feet. After my surgery, my new stomach and my new
way of life is the first thing I think about in the
morning and the last thing I think about when I go to
bed. I still eat some things that I shouldn’t but my
stomach lets me know quickly that I did at "bad thing."
Every morning my diet ideas and my new lease on life is
reaffirmed. I can truthfully say that this is definitely the
"last diet" I will ever be on.

Thanks for

Helen
I am new to the club, and I feel like
you were writing my feelings down. Because thats
exactly how I feel, I used to plan what snack I would get
up and have while everyone was sleeping. I figured
no one would no, but my weight finally told on me.
Then I went on a Diet only on weekends, I was of
course kidding myself. I would go to the store and get a
coke and a candy bar every day and say yea I can lose
weight this way. But then I was making more and more
trips to the store. I had my surgery 5 yrs ago, and I
lost 127 lbs and ocasionally I eat the wrong thing and
like you my stomach also tells me about it. but for
the most part I have kept it off, but I still find
myself looking into the mirror to make sure I am still
thin.
thanks
Paula
