<description>Best of luck Shell. You're going to be just fine. The time before surgery
is so nerve wracking and exciting all at the same time. Tell your hubby he
can post here and let us know how you're doing. Hurry back! The scary time
is almost over and you'll be well on your way this time next week.
Smile......it will be just fine!!
Big hugs and then lots more,
Judi

Hi Everyone,
Well my day has almost arrived. I go for all my pre-op stuff today,
got my bags packed for the hospital, took my before measurement and
pics(eeewwww)Made my husband buy a poloroid so no-one at the film
development place could see LOL! I have a few things to pick up
today and then Fri. at 8:00 I will be on my way to the lighter side
of life.

<description>Dbl_D32&#60;br&#62;:)&#60;br&#62;HI, my name is Lisa Boone. I had
my surgery on July 13,1999. I am still &#34;new&#34; to this
myself.&#60;br&#62;I had minimal pain and am healing wonderfully.&#60;br&#62;I
used an epidural during my surgery to help me continue
breastfeeding my son, Elijah.&#60;br&#62;I had the epi. removed two
days after the surgery and didn't need anything for
the pain after that.&#60;br&#62;About the scar. I compulsive
about keeping vitamen E on it and it is now a light
pink color and in some spots it's already starting to
blend back in... Not near as bad as half of my stretch
marks. &#60;br&#62;I recovered in about three weeks. I do
however notice that sometimes if I am wearing something
snug and I bend down, I will get a sharp pain in my
stomach.. (I guess it's still not use to too much
pressure)...&#60;br&#62;Anyhow...&#60;br&#62;No matter what the risks were.. I was willing to do
&lt;!--more--&gt;
this surgery and SOOOO very glad I did. I feel so
wonderful.. .I have energy for the first time in five years.
&#60;br&#62;When Adam and I met 5 years ago, I was 150 lbs. I
can't believe I may be near that again. :) I am so
excited about it.&#60;br&#62;I want to wish you the best of luck.
I hope you can find all the information you are
looking for.&#60;br&#62;IT'S WORTH IT!!! :)&#60;br&#62;GOd Bless,&#60;br&#62;Lisa
