Hi Tammy,
my scar is from right below my
breast bone done to the bottom of my navel.
It is
about 12 inches long.
But, I had a hernia repair
thats why it is through my navel.

Tammy,
My scar runs frombetween my breasts (at
the point where my bra stops) to 1 1/2 inches above
my navel. But i was also ucky… I had already had a
scar in the same pace and the doc "fixed" my old scar!
Before my kids used to tease me and say I had 2
belly-buttons… becasue of the puckering of the skin… BUT NO
MORE, just an ugly red line… which will whiten with
age!

Good job, Dee!! I have a question for you and any other post-ops (open rnys)
out there–How long is your scar? And where exactly is
it?
