I have a date. Monday December 13th at Port Huron Hospital in Port Huron
Michigan. Excitement and nerves in equal portions are tonights

do it! It was great meeting you at the meeting and I
hope you let me learn as much from you as I can as you
go through this surgery. My prayers are with you,
fella. I know this is the answer you’ve been looking
for. It’s mine, too!<br> Go buy the baby spoon and
fork. Liquid vitamins, etc. What else? A new blender?

I have been approved for surgery after the first letter!! I am so
jazzed. Even though this seemes to have taken a long time, in truth
it has only been a couple of months since I mentioned it to my PCP.
I am scheduled to see Dr. DeLaTorre at Crossroads Hospital on 9/26
and am really excited to finally get the ball rolling!

I want to wish you the best of surgeries and an easy recovery. I don’t know if
we have any other Dr. Davidson patient on the list, but if we do, maybe
they’ll chime in with their experiences.

long 6mths to me. I passed the Health Alliance test.lol Now I am
approved to see the surgeon and begin my steps for surgery approval.
I don’t post much on here. I do however read all posts and learn
from several. I am just so excited that I had to post.

Congrats Diane, I had my psych exam on Monday and passed with flying colors.
Am so happy. Have my nutrition appt next week, then all I need is the blood
work and the ultra sound.
I am having mine done at a military hospital and once all my exams are done I
am put on a waiting list for the surgery. I have never been so excited in my
life. Life is good. LOL

miki, What Military Hospital are you having the surgery done at? I
had my surgery done at Naval Medical Center San Diego CA. It went
fast for me. I saw the Doctor in early Feb. and had surgery March
8th.2004. I have lost 27 lbs. 2 dress sizes and 2 bra sizes. It is
great. We have a nutritionist also. I see her every appt. She also
attends our support group meeting. I hope you get your surgey soon.
