It hit me, I have so much to do and very little time to do it. My
Mother who has been on me for over a year to have the surgery, told
me today "Why don’t you see if they can postpone it until
July"….YOU GOT TO BE KIDDING!!

Advice for getting ready….stock up on a variety of sugar free juices, fruit
juice, broth, and sugar free popsicles for the first few weeks. So far, my
taste has been very fickle…some things taste too sweet but the next day
they taste good. If you will be on clear liquids for a while, it’s good to
have a variety of choices.

Hi everybody, I’m usually a reader and not a
writer, but I wanted to share my news. I got my surgery
date on monday, just two days after my info was faxed
to health options. The doc’s office said it would be
quick, but I didn’t think it would be that quick. Anyway
my date is Nov. 15, wish me luck. Lisa

Well…I found out today that I AM approved, but
June 1st was a "dummy" date that the Dr had to give
the insurance company. He wrote his request for
surgery letter on March 14th and the approval letter was
dated March 16th! WOW!
Most likely I will be getting
the surgery at the end of June or beginning of July
which is fine by me because its actually MORE work to
prepare a classroom to leave for that long!

I
teach 3rd grade in NJ. How about you!!
