Cindy.. I know.. ;)
BUT.... I have to have
invitro or an IUI.. because of an internal
deformity...not caused by the weight. :)
Thanks for the info
though...
P.S.... does that mean I won't be considered
ammenorrhea soon?... That would be nice... Haven't had "one"
yet.

Hey Lisa,
Dr. Schechner has said over and over
again that most of his patients that needed fertility
help before the surgery DO NOT need it later! Maybe
you will be blessed... so be careful for
now!
Cindy

Get a new primary!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He should not be
telling you something he knows nothing about! Ask him
DIRECTLY how many child-bearing age women WHO have had a
RNY has he taken care of! I mean LONG-TERM... if it
is under 100 tell him he is NOT qualified to tell
you that and you would like him to refer you to
someone who has the expertise to help you to when you get
to that stage! Listen to your surgeon, talk to your
OB/GYN and have your OB/GYN talk to your surgeon.
Together they can make an inofrmed decision to share with
you!
Cindy

Both my doctor and surgeon have given us the "go
ahead" to get pregnant after two years. We would like a
third child and can't wait to start the process (we
have to use the infertility center here in town)....
Anyhow... I have a lot of info on the matter. My doctor
told me that I would be considered high risk, and that
I would need to make sure I was getting enough food
in before I did, but I am excited never the less.
Good luck on your future baby... :)
