6 weeks and the weight loss stops
Today Im a bit discouraged. I had lost 30 pounds
in 4 weeks when I noticed a severe drop in weight
loss to about 2 pounds in a week. I knew I wasnt
drinking any water so I even started gagging down 2 sports
bottles a day. Today I stood on the scale and again only
lost 2 pounds in the last week. I have to wonder, if I
have to watch every food label, drink water until I
float away and work out every other day, then why the
heck did I bother going through all the pain and
sickness of surgery? 2 pounds a week is what I lost when I
dieted on my own. Sorry, Im frustrated that Im finally
not sick anymore and the weight loss slows down so
drastically.. Im 30, gastric bypass now at 303 pounds.

Well I have to say I am very happy to loss 2
pounds a week, some weeks it is a little more, and this
past week it was only one, but it is still a whole lot
better than what I was doing on my own! Because if I
could have lost 2 pounds a week on my own I NWEVER
would have had such a drastic, life changing surgery!
And when you nare feling a little down look at the
entire picture… Like me for example I have lost 68 and
a half pounds in 4 months! That is an awesome
accmplishment that I am very proud of! Any person not having
this surgery would be reccomended to only lose 1-1.5
pounds a week… which is only 52 to 78 pounds in an
entire YEAR! so I am VERY thankful… chin up, remember
all the weight did not go on over night, give it time
to come off!
