Okay,<br>so do any of you (women) want to have
children after surgery.. If so, how long are you planning
or how long did you wait before conceiving. If not..
what course of "protection" did you use?<br>I am
afraid to take any form of contraception due to most
cause people to gain weight…. so for now abstenance
is the key… am I a worry-wart, or what?!<br>Please

Hi Lisa.. Just wanted to let you know that my

fiance and i do plan on having at least one more
sometime in the future.. When i went on BCP’s a few weeks
ago i was talking to my midwife and had told her that
because of being on Depo for 9 months, I had gained 37
pounds.. I told her that I wanted another form of BC so I
could have this surgery done and not have to worry
about getting pregnant and she had suggested Ortho
Tri-Cyclen.. She said that she’s heard from a lot of women
that they don’t gain weight on it like other forms of
pills or shots… She had also suggested that i get an
IUD put in because that would be something that
wouldn’t be affected by all the hormonal changes from
rapid weight loss but, i have moral issues about that
one.. But, this may be something you might want to look
into.. Hope this helps..
