Just wanted to let you know that my fiance and i do plan on having at least one more sometime in the future.. When i went on BCP's a few weeks ago i was talking to my midwife and had told her that because of being on Depo for 9 months, I had gained 37 pounds.. I told her that I wanted another form of BC so I could have this surgery done and not have to worry about getting pregnant and she had suggested Ortho Tri-Cyclen.. She said that she's heard from a lot of women that they don't gain weight on it like other forms of pills or shots... She had also suggested that i get an IUD put in because that would be something that wouldn't be affected by all the hormonal changes from rapid weight loss but, i have moral issues about that one..
