I have great news

I just got my surgery date. I am scheduled
for
March 13, 2000. I’m so excited that I can’t type
this
message. I have to go in a week before for the
pre-op
testing so that will lessen the wait - maybe it will
make
it seem longer. I just don’t know. Can anybody
tell
me what kinds of pre-op testing they had to do.
Is
it like getting blood work and stuff like that?
I’d
like to know what others have gone
thru.
Can’t wait
to see you on the other
side.
Nancy Brand

I’m using Dr Yates here in St Louis and he
    requires: Blood work-gallbladder ultrasound-pumonary
function test-vascular doppler study(check for blood
clots)-EKG-chest X-ray. My surgery dates is 2-16-00 good luck!

Hi. Doctor Yates is my doctor as well. Do you go
to his support group meetings? I have never been to
one and have been wondering about them. I am 6 months
post op and have been involved in a peer support group
only. Are you post op or pre-op? I live in Troy, Il.
How about you? Hope to hear from you soon! Karen
