They verified my insurance coverage beforehand, and warned me that I would probably have to pay about 3,000 out-of-pocket because I was going out of network. After my hospital stay was over, they sent all the bills to my insurance company, and once the insurance company had paid their portion of each bill, the hospital billed me for the remainder.
