Visual/mental fun. check this out
I have a skinny friend who constantly made
comments like…."why dont you just stop eating?" or this
one, "Why dont you just exercize?" This is how I got
her to understand. <br><br>I had her stand up and
close her eyes. Then I told her to imagine herself in a
real large jumpsuit with huge pockets all over. She
agreed. As she was standing there visualizing this I told
her that I will be placing 10 pound bowling balls in
the pockets one by one. <br>I said, "where I touch
you, imagine I have just placed a bowling ball in that
pocket."<br><br>I tapped each butt cheek adding 20 pounds, I tapped
her belly twice adding 20 more. I tapped each thigh
adding 20 more, each calf adding 20 more. Now she is 80
pounds overweight. <br><br>But she isnt done….. I was
trying to make her understand how "I" feel, and I was
160 pounds overweight.<br><br>I tapped each breast
once, adding 20, each arm adding 20, her lower back
adding 20, her neck and shoulders adding another 20.
<br><br>I asked her if she could really visualize this, and
when she said yes, I yelled, …..<br><br>"Now go jump
on a treadmill"<br><br>Since my gastric bypass I
have dropped 7 1/2 bowling balls.

too funny hun…<br>I too have some "skinny"
friends that say the same thing..like you should try
running for miles and miles..yah
right…unfortunately, too many people think this way..they have never had a
weight problem so to them it is not considered a problem
to lose weight..showing your friend how it feels to
have all that weight on you was a wonderful way to
make her understand how you feel..hope she is alittle
more patient and understanding when it comes to her
"weight challenged" friends….
