Has anyone been approved through Healthpartners? I am showing that it is
covered, but I am also told or heard that it is hard to be approved.

I am new to the club and want to start by saying
hi. I am 24 and a mother of a sweet baby girl who is
9 weeks old. I want to have the surgery and I have
Blue Cross/Blue Sheild–HMO BLUE TEXAS. I would like
to know if there is anyone who has had the surgery
with that same insurance or knows anyone that has had
the surgery.

I have Capital Blue Cross/PA Blue Sheild. I am 28
and was 5′0 and 270at first consult. I was approved
with my first request and had no difficulty
whatsoever. My plan has also agreed to cover some
recontructive surgery as well, at least that’s what they said
when I was approved. Hope this helps

Has anyone out there had to deal with United Health Care Insurance? My husband
works for Aramark/ServiceMaster and we will be picking up his ins. effective
January 1st. I’m interested in approval time and what hoops to jump. If anyone
has any info I would appreciate it.

Hello,
I am waiting for approval. My paperwork went to the insurance
company on Dec. 4. Still no response. About how long does this
process take?
Thank you.

Hi there,
I work for a big insurance company and it can take anywhere from 2 to
6 weeks depending on how busy the dept is that handles the approval.
You can always call your customer service and get an idea from them.
Good luck with your upcoming surgery. I am going myself for
consultation on Jan. 8th, 2003. It’s exciting but scarey.
