Hi support group. It’s been ages since I’ve
posted and thought I give you all an update on my
progress. So many new names in here that I doubt any of you
may know me.
Well, as of yesterday I hit the 150
pounds "gone forever" mark. That’s "whole other person"
gone from me in all actuality! I’ve got a bit more
weight to go and I will make it but my loss has slowed
down quite a bit and I tend to hit plateaus more often
now, but I don’t get discouraged about and just keep

I just got my surgery date. I am scheduled
for
March 13, 2000. I’m so excited that I can’t type
this
message. I have to go in a week before for the
pre-op
testing so that will lessen the wait - maybe it will
make
it seem longer. I just don’t know. Can anybody
tell
me what kinds of pre-op testing they had to do.
Is
it like getting blood work and stuff like that?
I’d
like to know what others have gone
thru.
Can’t wait
to see you on the other
side.
Nancy Brand
