Dear Abarosie,

Hi there! I'm trying to
understand your question. Your doctor is asking you to
consider a lap VGB? Most people who have a VGB wind up
having to have a revision done to the RNY anyway, so my
own personal advice would be to save time and go
straight for the RNY. My surgeon stopped doing VGB's long
ago because their long term effects aren't good. Most
people gain the weight back after having a VGB. Do your
homework.
Good luck!
Laura
