You’re not ALL going to get lost in the week of
my need are you?? I’m having the surgery on Monday
and I’m feeling very anxious. I need to finish out my
school year by Friday and my class doesn’t even know I’m
leaving yet!! <br><br>I hope we hear from Barbie
(Spacedoutagain) soon! Wasn’t she having her surgery this

Hello everyone. I had WLS 2/8/00 and have had
many complications over the last few months. I am
interested in finding out if anyone developed Guillian Barre
Syndrome after surgery and if so, how you deal with it?

Does anyone use Glucosamine and Chondroitin for arthritis and joint pain? I will

I am eating entirely too many carbs a day and
want to cut back. Ive replaced my usual cereal with
cottage cheese, and a few other changes. Please give me
some ideas of what fruits/veggies/and so on are best.
I can only find a short list of low-carb foods. If
anyone has a website they can direct me to it would be

I was scheduled to have my gastric bypass last
Wednesday at the Hershey Medical Center, I was so excited
after counting down the days since, 09/09/99 when I
found out that I was diabetic and the surgery was
suggested. I went in, went through all of the pre-op
proceedures, went to the pre-op room, and waited. I got there
at 11am, at about 3:30 my surgeon comes and tells me
to go home. They can’t possibly get me in the OR
until 9pm, which is too late. The only thing is that I
live 1 1/2 hours away, don’t drive, and am broke. Due
to a bad experience I had in Philly, when I was
robbed by someone in the ER, I had given all my money,
credit cards, etc to my friend that had dropped me off.
So, the hospital ended up putting me up in a hotel,
giving me a voucher for dinner, and giving me a bus

Hi- I am a new club member. I am preparing for gastric bypasss surgery and
would like to discuss this surgery with others who have experienced or who are
also preparing for it.

Well! In 12 hours (approximately) I will become
Mrs. Angela Randall! Woohoo baby!!<br><br>We will have
LOTS O’ Pics for anyone who wants to see! <br>I NEED
everyone to pray for NO RAIN!<br>This is our big
LIGHTHOUSE Wedding and we can’t have it raining!!
Overcast…no biggie…RAIN stinks!! <br><br>HUGS and I’ll post
