Am I losing too slow?
I had surgery on 3/10/00 and so far have lost
about 55#. That is about 25% of the total weight I need
to lose. I was happy with that until my doctor tod
me I should at least be at 33% at 3 months post op.
Should I be as worried as I am? I need some input as to
where other people were at 3 months post op.

You are doing great gal. Dont sweat this. 3
months is not long at all. I was at about the same
place. Im 7 months post op and am down 110. Its not as
fast as some, but Im thrilled just the same. Dont let
this get you down. It WILL come off. Help it along
with exercize and water consumption. Relax…your on
target regardless of what your DR says.

I had surgery on 3-27-00 and have lost about
42.5lbs thusfar. I think you’re doing great. Some people
lose weight faster depending on their weight at the
time of surgery. I was 256.5lbs. I haven’t felt any
undue pressure from my dr…and when I tried to load it
on myself, the folks from here reminded me that
we’re all different. If you’re watching the calorie/fat
intake, drinking your water and getting your
exercise…then I think you’re on track.

Just my humble
opinion…but don’t be too hard on yourself.

Linda

I think you are doing GREAT! It doesn’t matter how fast you loose it.. YOu are
still loosing it so I wouldn’t be concerned. :)
CONGRATULATIONS on your
weight loss! :)
WAY TO GO!
Lisa B.

Hi Jenna!

Stop worrying! It’s so hard to
compare yourself to others, everyone loses different.
Don’t be so hard on yourself, k?
I checked my wls
website weight loss chart, and I was at about 60# at my
three month point. So you are right on target. Not to
worry, you are doing great!

Good luck to you, and
hugs!
Laura
