Michelle,
I know you are looking for low carb,
but i'll tell you what I do.
I only shop the
paremetor of the store.
I try to eat foods in closest to
their natural state.. using as little preservatives and
additives as possible.
I do drink lactade or soy milk
(lactade tastes better to me).. I also eat yogurt.. but
all my veggies are raw or grilled on the bbq.
I
also grille or broil my fish and meats.
I try lots
of leafy greens.. they were hard for me to eat in
the begining, but they do make me feel
'refreshed'.
I also have fresh fruit every day.
They only
thing (that's food) that I buy in the middle aisles are
dry beans, oatmeal and wheat germ.
Hope this helps
a little,
Lisa B.
