to you who replied to my post, my mom has been
telling me not to let her bother me. in time i will get past this. i want tao
do this because i need to do something to get my health back.
now the nurseat the doctors office tells me that my being midly bi-polar may be
a problem for my doctor.he may decide not to do surgery on me because of
problems he is having with other patients that are bi-polar. so i am praying
that he will be ok with me. he is on vacation this week so i won’t know for
till he gets bac.

You take medication for your bipolar? I will say a prayer that he decides
to do it, but if not there are other doctors out there. Keep in touch.

I hope for you that that nurse is wrong, but if she is wright, dont give up,
he isnt the only doctor thats doing this kind of surgery. I will pray for
you, that he will do this surgery for you, try to keep faith.

Good luck, Julie. I’m thinking that one of the problems he might
have is getting the meds titrated after the surgery. Your surgeon
might not feel comfortable doing this. Wonder what might happen if
your psychologist or psychiatrist agrees to watch this for him,
knowing that you’ve got potential malabsorption issues.
