Dyan,

It is not unusual to be tired for
about 3-4 weeks after surgery. Sounds like you are
doing the right thing. Remember you had major surgery
and it takes time to recuperate. Make sure you get a
good nights sleep and don’t over do it too
soon.

I had surgery in Dec. 1999 and am down 98 lbs as of
today. I started out at 300 lbs. I have gone froma size
26 to a 16 pant and a medium top from a 3x. My bra
is a 36, I was squeezing into a 42.

I would
also suggest you start walking as soon as possible.
Even if it is little walks every day to start. It will
really help you build stamina and help in weight
loss.

Good luck.

Phyliss

I would like to "ditto" the last e-mail to you.
You have every right to be tired. You have had major
surgery and your body is trying to recoup. Give it a
little time. Take short walks to build up your strength.
It will come back to you before you know it. Don’t
rush things. It took me a full four months before I
felt "human" again. Take care…..

Helen
