to
get a gastric bypass done…
But..
The military
are such penny pinchers, that it is like pulling
teeth to get anything approved…
So I am looking
for any other military dependants that may have
gotten this done..
I am looking for advice and
helpful tips that I can use to make this
happen…
Thank you for all those that reply…
Chelle
:0)

I am a Tri-Care Prime dependent. I had surgery
12/14/1999. I did not have a base hospital as it was blown
away in Hurricane Andrew. However, my primary care
physician was totally against giving me a referall so
beware, besure your doctor is with you on this. Also,
Tri-Care approved the surgery in 5 days.

Phyliss

We have a base hospital here…
But they don’t
have any surgeons here that do the gastric
bypass..
So you have to be approved by Tri-care first and
then you are refered off of post..
What is the next
step if your Primary care physician is against you
getting this done?
Thank You!
Chelle
:0)
