		<description>I had an open RNY gastric bypass a little over a
year ago. The incision was long - from the bottom of
my breast bone to just about 2&#34; above my belly
button. The scar has faded and probably would be much
less noticeable if I hadn't gotten a hernia. It's
really pale and very thin, except where it has widened
