Thank You

I want to thank all of you in here for your
stories. I joined this group quite some time ago, but
never posted because there was no chance of getting
this surgery due to financial difficulties. I had a
home daycare and did not have any insurance. I was
hired last may at a local hospital and obtained
insurance. The provider was Health Central, and they do
approve this surgery. I had to wait to build up sick
leave so that I could afford to be off work. Things
were looking good until I found out that they were
changing ins. carriers. I have now found out that they
will be going with BC/BS Custom Blue PPO. After
researching on www.obesityhelp.com, I found that they also
approve this surgery. I have chosen a surgeon, and have
my initial appt. on Jan 2, 2001. I am soooooo

excited. I have read posts daily for over a year now. I am
ready for this, and that is due to the fact that you
have been willing to share your experiences here.
Thank You one and all. You are my angels.

I’ll be keeping my fingers crossed and saying some
prayers that you have no problems getting the surgery
approved. I’m so thankful for the new me and the healthier
person mentally and physically that I’ve become since my
surgery a month ago. Keep us posted on your progress.

Pam thank you so much. I feel much better, I had the procedur done
yesterday 1-31-05, at 8 am and was back to work at 9:30 am same day,
so it wasn’t too bad. I am sooo glad I found this website, it’s been
a wonderful help, can’t wait to post my pics up before and after.
Just give me a few more months. I bought some clothing not much, but
I was soo tired of wearing my knits pants that didn’t have a size or
stretch pants cause I couldn’t fit into regualr caki’s. Today I’m
wearing a full length skirt and a nice pink sweater and wearing make
up for the first time in forever….I’m feeling wonderful, only you
all know how I feel, it’s sooo good to be a part of a "family" you
could call, thanks a bunch, best wishes to all of you, I will keep in
