People!
Does anyone else out there hear this whenever you
mention having this surgery done…"Why don’t you just
eat what you will be eating after the surgery and you
will lose the weight!" Oh my gosh, if I hear that one
more time I think I’ll punch someone. Please tell me
someone else has heard this. <br>Brandy

Been there done that. People have no
understanding of what it is like to live in our shoes. Wait,
after you have the surgery they will be watching and
making comments like, "Isnt that way to much food for
you to eat?" I am 16 months post op and had someone
say that to me, like I don’t know what I can eat. I
just looked at them and smiled.

Sure, there’s the people who wonder why I can’t
just "follow the diet" without having the surgery.
Then there is another equally annoying group of people
who think having the surgery means I can eat whatever
I want without getting any of the calories. Like it
is some kind of magic bullet. Those are the people
who think it is the "easy way out". Fooey on all of
them! I am sure if there was a way to do this without
the surgery, all of us would have already done it.
