You sound like me, honestly, when I think about
my surgery day I have to laugh. If I had driven
myself, I probably would have just got up and left
without the SURGERY! Yes, I was scared too, you should be
too, this is a major operation. (I had my gallbladder
removed too) When I woke up I was in pain, but not lots
of pain. As a matter of fact, I still had morphine
in my PSA that I didn't even use when I went home.
My surgery was on Monday, came home on Thursday and
got a great night sleep (it's hard sleeping in the
hospital because they have to wake you up to take you're
temp and check your blood pressure) stayed home on
Friday and went to a soccer game on Sunday and been on
the go since. I've not had to take any pain meds
since I've left the hospital! Now, everyone is

different, but I've not had ANY TROUBLE, so the pain scale
is really based on your tolerence, not anyone else.
I'm exactly one month today and I'm looking forward
all the way!

The best,

Pam
