Actually I was two pounds under that when I started looking into the procedure. I called one doctor and spoke to a nurse. She said to gain the few extra pounds and getting approved would be that much simplier. Approval wasn't simply but I do believe that because I was over the 100 lbs mark is why you don't have to have co-mobities (with my insurance anyways) in order to get approved.
