Consultation complete
I had my consult with Dr. Anthone at USC on
August 27th. He said it would take 3 months to get
insurance approval and do the work up and schedual the
surgery date. He also said that I was not a candidate to
have it lap. He said my abdomin was already tight due
to all my fat being there. Has anyone else been told
this? I felt he was a little defensive when I asked why
he didn’t do the lap procedure. I do hope that the
insurance will work out. I also was wondering how big the
incision is. Dr. Anthone dose the Gastric bypass Duodenal
switch. Well, I will keep you posted. I also want to wish
those the best that are schedualed for wls this month.
May God guide you along a path of
success.

Dottie
Pre-op

Just to follow-up on my last message. Dr. Anthone
is now looking for a doctor to join his office that
does laproscopic surgery. Also, he said that the
incision generally goes from the sternum to the belly
button. At times, it may go past the belly button.
