My approval the first time took six weeks after
my consult with the surgeon. I took all my recent
labs, heart studies, and sleep studies with me. I did
not want any delays.
Last month, I found out I was
changing insurances as of Nov 1st. I called my surgeons
office October 19th. I found out yesterday by phone that
I had approval, again. I kept in touch with the
doctors office and the insurance company.
I know that
it is hard to be patient to get to the other-side.
You may want to make some follow-up phone calls. Just
to make sure that nobody is
slacking.

Dottie
Pre-op DS

Hey Dottie! How long did it take for your
insurance to approve? Because I'm also taking all my pre-op
tests that are required, and waiting for their approval
as well. I was hoping to have it sometime in
December, but it sure doesn't look like it's gonna happen.
