Calldot Update

Hi Y’all,
I know I haven’t posted in a while. I have been pretty busy with
family issues. The summer is here, and the kids are out of school. I
am doing really well. My energy level is great. I started back into
pool therapy about a month ago. My back is feeling better. I am able
to walk around the block with out so much pain. I hope to go back to
work next month.
My current weight is 242 lbs. I went through my clothes and got rid
of over half of them. They don’t fit. :) I am able to eat 4 times a
day and still get in 80 to 100 grams of protein. I feel best when I
eat this much protein. Able to eat just about anything. Still try to
avoid foods that are gaseous.
Hey Tiffany, hang in there. It is rough at 1st, but it will get
better. Pace yourself, rest when you feel tired, and take it easy.
Things are going to be changing in your life. I have been keeping a

diary for the last 5 months. I write about how my life is changing,
how I feel about it and how it affects those aroung me. I also try to
end each entery with a prayer. I do not have to write in it every
day. It is nice to re-read some of my entries also.
Furthermore, if you suffered from depression before surgery, you will
still have it after surgery. It hopefully will be easier to deal
with. The surgery is not a cure-all, but a tool to help you live a
happier and healthier life. Look at how far you have come. Remember
all of the opposition that you had. You were able to ride those waves
out. This is just another one.
I will keep you in my prayers. God bless you.

Dottie
