Marcia,
I have a question about something you said. I’ve been told often not
to drink while eating. Why is that. I hope you can help.
Thanks, Rebecca

Rebecca,
I was told by my doctor that if you drink right before you eat that you will
not be able to eat the full amount you should, therefore not getting in your
protein and if drink while your eating it pushes the food through before the
nutrients can be absorbed.
Hope this helps,
Sharon

The reason you are not supposed to drink with your meals is that the liquid
dilutes with your food and washes it thru quickly…..usually in 45
minutes….so you will be not only hungry all the time…..you will also have
intestinal distress and gas because the food is washing thru so
quickly……………These are things that I have heard…..not sure if it
is all true……..But "Pouch For Dummies" is a really good source for
explaining this………….Good Luck…..and Take Care…..Marcia
