surgeon’s appt.
I need some feed back from my friends on this site. Does a wait of 9 months
seem over the wall for a consult appt with a surgeon? I can understand maybe 2
or even 3; but 9 months seem over the wall a little. What has been your
experience guys (and girls)?

Patsy,
9 months does seem long….however, it depends on how many other surgeons are
in your area. I live in Jacksonville, Fl and there are just a couple
surgeons here and 1 of them only takes certain insurance’s and he is booked
until June 2003. I went to Gainesville which is about 1 hour and 1/2 from
here. You may want to look around.

I called my surgeon’s office in May; he and his partner were booked
until December and January. I managed to get in on June 10th (called
and scheduled later) because of a cancellation. So yeah, I can see a 9
month waiting list.
