liquid diet for 2 weeks pre-op?

thanks to those who responded - I’m trying not to be so out of control

No one answered the ? about liquid though - Was anyone else asked to
do a week or two of liquid pre-op?

    I was asked to do liquid the day before surgery, that was all. A week
    or 2 seems like long time to me. But I’m new at this. Good Luck.
