<description>Thanks so much for your update. I am pre-op candidate in Rochester, NY. I am so
appreciative of all those who share their experience.

Kitty

I have written in awhile so I thought I would share how I have been doing. I
have wanted to respond to so many emails but by the time I read them, 3 or 4
people have already respond. I love how this groups stays active. Your
responses and posts have been very appreciated and have helped me with many
things.

Well today it has been 10 weeks. I am feeling good and have been for almost a
month now. I am swimming almost 4 to 5 times a week. Started that two weeks
ago. I am starting to feel some slight pain, well not pain but strain in the
muscles I haven't used in awhile. It feels great though because I feel like
&lt;!--more--&gt;
everyday my body is getting strong and I feel better. The eating part is still a
process but I feel like I am doing better. I finally found a protein that I can
handle. So I have been taking protein drinks 3 times a week. Hopefully helping
with my protein intake. I am doing good with most foods. I have thrown up a
few times either because I didn't chew enough or I ate to much. Trying to be
more cautious of that and so far its getting better. I have a hard time with
chicken unless it has something on it to make it going down easier..like chicken
salad or chicken with some kind of sauce. I do really well with sea food which
I am happy about because i love it. Vegatables
are still difficult but getting better. I have had a little potato but rice and
pasta I stay away from. To me its just wasted room. :)

Anyways, after all this progress I m down 53lbs since surgery. I am very happy
and I m hoping my exercising increase will increase my weightloss. If not, I am
prefectly happy with how I am doing. I hope everyone elses experience is going
well or getting better. Believe me it does, my first month was not this
easy..just take it day by day. I wish everyone the best. Good Luck to all post
and pre ops.
