Obesity surgery

Good morning

My doctor spoke with Aetna last week, do to some miss understand the weight loss
information required did not get sent until today.(10/18)
When I called my doctors’ office yesterday I was told to fax the information to
Aetna myself. — Sooo this morning I call Aetna to confirm the fax number and
sent it. I then call my surgeons’ office to obtain their fax number and leave a
message with Roxanne. I sent the information I sent to Aetna to Dr. Patti’s
office attention Roxanne. With a note asking her to call and set up a surgery
date.

I am having elbow surgery on Wednesday (10/23) at 9 am. I have to continue with
my life while waiting for the surgery. I am taking classes for my work at H&R
Block for tax season. I’ve taken up beading, I making ornaments and of course my

I was wondering, this might sound wierd. Can anyone tell me, after
the surgery did it change your sex life at all? Like, did it take
the
wanting it away or anything like that? Or is the sex life normal?

Hey Judy…..where in Arizona did you move to??? I
live in Arizona and I had my surgery done in
Scottsdale by Dr. Robin Blackstone who is sooo
awesome!! You are the only other person I have seen
post here that is from Arizona.

Just joined this group tonight. I am waiting to hear from my
insurance. I’m excited to hear anyway. A friend that is going
through the same dr and insurance company got approved today. So I
am hoping in the next couple days I will hear something. The wait is
the hardest thing. I have found that I am very grouchy because I
don’t know how many hoops I’m going to have to jump through to get
this done. I’m sure that I’m not the only one that is having this
problem!!!!

Hi I am new to here. I recieved my surgery date, it will be on
Nov. 7, 2002. I am very excited and nervous at the same time.
I just keep thinking, will this work. Does anyone have any advice

Hi my name is Christina my husband is in the U.S Navy and we are
currently in the Wa state area we have 3 kids James 11 caitlyn 10
and BreAnna 8 I’am going to start looking into the gastro surgery
soon and I found this group so I could have support from other
people who have gone thru or are going thru what I’am going to thru
here soon. I’am hoping that the people here not only will support me
in my descion to make this move in my life, and NOT just dwell on
being over weight but also talk about our everyday lives. I
