Hello All

I just wanted to say that Friday I had to go back to the hospital to
have an Upper GI Endoscopy. The tube that bypassed my stomach shrink a
little. The procedure lasted about 5 mins. 5 days prior it seem that I
couldn’t eat or drink cause of the meds were getting stuck in my tube.
So I stopped taking the meds Thursday and felt fine. But the Dr. but you
need to take your meds. So they stretched it out. I am feeling a whole
lot better. Thanks to all that has said you look marvelous.

I had to laugh, when you asked this. I went into Chico’s this weekend and
the woman asked what size I wore. (Chico’s are all sized 0,1,2,3) I looked
at her and said that the only size I knew was 2x, but that the last pair of
jeans I’d bought at Walmart had been a 12 petite. (I’m sure they’re sized
larger than they seem…) - so she said that I’d probably wear the Chico
size 2, which is a 10-12. I was so surprised - I figure I"m at teh top of
the size 2 and can probably wear it down another 30 lbs. Since a lot of
what I bought were jackets and shirts, I think I will be ok.

    Hello all,
I am still alive and kicking just very busy getting
the kids ready for back to school..TOMORROW WOOOHOOOO.
Does anyone who has had surgery still look in the
mirror and see a fat person? I still do but the other
day I tried on my girlfriends pants a size 38 in mens

and they FIT WOOOHOOOOO so I went out and bought a
pair. I started out in Dec being a 56-58 in mens. I am
soooo excited. Well thanks for letting me vent.
Love all and keep up the good work,
    Gloria

YES! I started out in a size 24 womens and am now in a size 16, and yet, often
I still feel like the "fat chick" when I go out to parties, etc. I’m working on
that mental issue and slowly as time goes on, I get more and more confident and
see myself for what I really am.

Congrats on the weight loss, trust me you are no longer the "fat chick" a LOT of
men like their woman that size, a little meat on the bones. They’re checking you
    out, trust me.

I couldn’t agree more. I am actually waiting for approval for my surgery and
congratulate you on your weight loss thus far. Being a woman I can appreciate
wanting to look my best and hope that this will be the tool to assist me in
getting not only THAT but back to good health as well. With 15 years of failed
diet attempts (even with exercise) my weight ballooned upt to close to 400 lbs.
and although I am over six feet carrying the weight is becoming more of a
    burden.

Again, I commend you on your weight loss and wish everyone continued success.
