Hello all,
Just wanted to say it is 4:30 am and I am on my way to the
hospital…..So see you all on the otherside.

I just wanted to say that Friday I had to go back to the hospital to
have an Upper GI Endoscopy. The tube that bypassed my stomach shrink a
little. The procedure lasted about 5 mins. 5 days prior it seem that I
couldn’t eat or drink cause of the meds were getting stuck in my tube.
So I stopped taking the meds Thursday and felt fine. But the Dr. but you
need to take your meds. So they stretched it out. I am feeling a whole
lot better. Thanks to all that has said you look marvelous.

Sept 27th / 474 pds
Oct 8th / 449 pds
Nov. 12th / 412 pds

I have my consultation with my surgeon on December 13th. Does anyone
have any questions that I should ask my surgeon?

I am so sorry about the several blank emails, I keep hitting the enter key and
of course the message is sent.

As you all know I finally got approval from Aetna for WLS and having trouble
with the assistant in my surgerons office getting back to me. I am no longer
going thru her, I am now in contact with the office manager. — The gaint
problem now is the doctor will be out of the country for the balance of this
month. Just to top it off our insurance carrier is changing as of January 2003.
– So I have to start all over again getting approval from the new insurance
carrier.

However the Best thing is that I am going to be a Grandma again this month, I am
looking forward to it. She will be our fifth grandchild (third granddaughter)

went. Im considering it and had my 1st psych appt last night. I want
to know how the procedure went, the recovery and results if any…

Hi again all,
Okay, well I took another pic today, so I posted it…now on to
more important things…like pain…:o( Did anyone ever start
experiencing back pain after the surgery? I don’t recall anything I
may have done to hurt my back. I had my surgery on 7-23-02 and have
lost 80 pounds, but I thought that it was maybe my kidneys hurting
this morning because my lower back was killing me and I have had that
stupid flu bug that has been going around. I have been taking over
the counter meds for that and just thought that because nothing stays
in the system like it used to, it was just giving my kidneys a
workout. But as the day progressed It became more and more appearant
that it wasnt my kidneys, but that it was my lower back around the
tailbone area. It is so bad now that I am having a hard time
sitting, standing or laying down for any length of time…:o( I dont
know of anything I may have done to hurt it, but I do know that it
