<description>melissa, I too had those pains. Dr. said b/c the insides had to be moved
around so much, they may have become a little bruised. all will heal. just
take it easy and no lifting. if un bearable tell dr. should do gall bladder

		<description>Dear Lauren
Than was a part of the plan going in. at my pre-op appointment, my Dr.
informed my husband and I, exactly what he was going to do. He explained that
it was my option to keep those organs, but explained to us that it's like
preventive maintnance to take those organs out.

<description>Well my dr had warned me about a nerve that might bother me, but this didnt
feel like nerve pain, but i could be wrong.. i just wanted to see if anyone else
had the same experience of hurting on the right side by the belly button.. :-)
It went away today so far. I went to sleep last night and woke up and its gone
today. SO i guess i wont worry about it unless it comes back!
thanks

I have pain on the right side of my belly next to my belly button too. I am
not sure what it is. My doc keeps saying I still may have misdirected air in
my body. When I had my surgery my gallbladder and appendix was taken out too,
so it couldn't be the appendix causing me pain in that area. Sorry, that I
can't help you more.

		<description>Bettina:

You had your gallbladder AND APPENDIX out?? No wonder! I wanted
them to tie my tubes while they were in there, but they wouldn't do
it. Too much trauma to the body at one time. Did you know about the
appendix or was it a surprise??
