Ok..gang..I hope this site helps all of you looking for Nioxin products. They
truly aren’t that hard to come by..but I keep seeing all these posts where
you’re not finding a hairdresser willing to order or havent seen them
there..well..here’s a website that will sell to you and( from what i can tell
without a lot of research )without a cosmetology liscense ( I have one..and
would NEVER refuse to order for any of my clients..if they do..find another
hairdresser! :0)) ~ Thanks Erin

hopeing to be in your shoes soon!! Erin

Hi Everybody,
I have been a member of this group for a while but I have only posted
a couple times, although I love to read about everybody’s sucess
stories and How supportive everyone is. I am approved through my
insurance to have the surgery ( open RNY )I am just waiting for my
sleep test and then I can set a date. I feel very confident with my
Doc, but I would really like to know what the time spent right before
the surgery and immediately after is like? I am aware of the basics
like walking around after the surgery to prevent blood clots. I would
really like to know about if there are things I can to do before the
surgery to make it easier. If anybody has any info. I would greatly
appreciate it.
Sandra
I am in an interesting place. I have completed all my tests required for my

"assume" because all I get when I call the doctor’s office is a message
machine, and I don’t really know. I have not yet cut way back on carbs,
though I am supposed to have done that. I look back, and know that I have
left that way of life in pursuing this radical treatment to my inability to
keep weight off. I look forward, to the surgery and the post-surgery life,
and it is hard to imagine what it will be like, existing with a stomach the
size of a thumb. I am excited, scared, afraid of somehow failing, and also
feeling a kind of grief of leaving some of the basic things that I have
enjoyed (to my own destruction) in the area of food. So, I guess it is a
mixed bag of emotions, and by faith, I am proceeding forward, knowing that
my weight has given me bad back, sciatic pain in my legs, diabetes, sleep
apnea, social fears and issues, and has shortened my life. So, I am going
forward, but must admit there is part of me that wishes that the doctor’s

I am a pre-op looking for a support group in the Pittsburgh area.
Does anyone know of any?
I have an initial consultation with Dr. Colella in May. He is out of
Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. Has anyone used him or
know of him?
