Is the sleep because you can’t get comfortable? Maybe sleeping in a
recliner, or with a lot of pillows around you will help. For gas? If it’s
the kind you expel, there’s something called Devrom that’s supposed to be
good. You can google it. If it’s the kind that stays inside and makes you
uncomfortable, you might want to try gas-x I lived on that and still do. I
find that if I have milk or sugar my gas gets really bad.

Anyway, I am still very excited about July 1st so I can start my long journey
to my new life. That sounds so gooood to say. Congrats to all of us who have
made this decision and can talk about our experiences and not be judged
because we all have something in common.
Delona, You asked if we had any questions. Are you still feeling pain and
did they make you walk the first day and how did it feel coming out of the
anesthesia? I haven’t been hospitalized since my son’s new life started July
2nd 1985. I had a
C - section. Exactly one day after my son’s 18th B-day and my new life
begins. There has got to be a good meaning about those dates.

Had surgery on the 23rd of dec and got home on the 25th. I am feeling
great. I have had broth, posicles , cream soups, and my protien. I
am sore but not as bad as I had imagined. I guess it kind of scares
me because I feel so good. I have heard so many stories. I thank God
for getting me through this. Now that my journey has begun I am very
excited. What are some of the first foods you should try to eat? And
what should I stay away from? Thanks for all your help. Luanne
