Approval Today
Today is the beginning..I got approved today. One hour prior to my appeal
committee meeting. My attorney got a phone call late yesturday and call me
today. I hirer Walter Lindstrom to fight my appeal with cigna and he really did
a great job. I hirer him less then 24 days ago, and he got me approval right
away. Anyone awaiting an appeal, beleive me, there is hope.

Hi everyone..well went to the Encronologist today, got blood work done and
measurements and told to keep a log book of what I intake for 1 week..and that
lapband surgery may not be right for me..but I would have to go to Leeds or
Liverpool to have this done. England..
And maybe a liquid diet of some sort would benefit me.
We’ll see.

Any reason you’re considering lap band instead of RNY? Does your doc
want you to do the lap band or would he consider the others? Is that the
standard in England? What types of surgery does St. James in Leeds or
the hospital in Liverpool support?

Right now I am in the first stages. I didn’t concider lap band. NHS..long
waiting list and just trying to see what is best option for me…The town I live
in DOES NOT do any sort of surgery like this and I’m having to be referred from
GP to places that do weight loss surgery…I am just in starting stages.

I do not know what the other hospitals support as Leeds is 4 hours away and
Liverpool is about 7 hours away.
