I was put on antigall when i first went home from surgery upon having problems
with nausa my surgeon stated that the benefits were minimal and one side effect
was nausa so he took me off of them..I just hope that i dont end up having to
have surgery to remove it..i asked him why he didnt remove it when i had surgery
and he said..i can not remove a perfectly healthy organ..lol...just putting my
two cents in too~

I was under the impression that most people were immediately put on
Actigall. And that some surgeons would take the gallbladder out during WLS
(seems that quite a few had that done from reading profiles on obesityhelp.)

First of all Hi! to everyone. I think I am suffering from gallbladder
colic as a side effect of Roux-N-Y done 6 weeks ago. I had a GB
ultrasound and no stones show up. I did some research and found this
is slightly common with this surgery.Symptoms resemble a full blow GB
attack. I would like to know if anyone else had this problem and if
they were given Actigall (ursodiol) for it or something else?

Thanks for your help in advance.....................Jen from CA
