<description>good luck he his my doctor i had my surgery 7/25/03. just keep your head up and
put god first it would be alright.

Anyway, I thought it was interesting, and not sure what to think about
it. I wonder what dynamic was at work that caused it. I know that some
surgeons require people to lose a certain amount prior to surgery, but
that wasn't the case here. I guess I got a head start.

<description>I think that when we're MO, a lot of our eating is just reflexive. Head
hunger. Maybe once you started focusing on your eating and really savoring it,
you found yourself 1. satisfied sooner, and 2. not eating reflexively. That
would be my guess. But it's not uncommon, Danny, for people to lose weight
before their surgery. Didn't happen to me &#60;G&#62;.

<description>I know with me, the harder I tried to lose weight, the more I wanted to eat.
When I wasn't obsessing about it all day, I didn't think about food as much.
Thankfully, those mental games are over for me since the surgery. That's been
one of the biggest reliefs for me. Good luck with your surgery!
